Keuka College—Keuka Park, NY, USA                                                                                            2011 – 2014

Liberal arts and experiential learning university.

 

Office Manager and Event Supervisor (2013 – 2014). Managed daily operations of seven student workers within Student Activities Office. Coordinated weekly student event supervisor schedules. Managed biannual budget for event planning.

 

  • Conceived, developed and implemented first Leadership Week, attracting approximately 500 attendees with over 200 student participants, three speakers, and seven clubs and organizations by creating master plan, publicizing event, arranging for speakers, creating and managing event schedule and staffing.

  • Created more streamlined method for publicizing campus events by conceiving and developing guidelines for publicity approval for all student clubs and organizations.

  • Increased student involvement and satisfaction with campus events by successfully supervised and coordinated over 500 student-run events.

 

Resident Assistant (2011 – 2014). Managed, annually, 30 international dormitory students.  Created and implemented student development programs. Created and maintained cohesive community, incorporating various cultures and backgrounds.

 

  • Created united environment under difficult circumstances by mediating conflicts among students, by successfully managing students who were not compliant with school policies, and by working with other resident assistants to solidify a live-work atmosphere.

  • Served, as sophomore, as mentor and advisor for over 20 juniors and seniors by diplomatically influencing and negotiating with upper classmen.

  • Successfully managed and mitigated medical emergencies, floods, and fire incidents by following appropriate protocols to ensure student safety.

  • Conceived eight-program student development curriculum each semester on mental health, professional development, and diversity by planning schedules, contacting and contracting speakers, and arranging logistics.  

 

Rooster Hill Vineyard—Penn Yan, NY, USA                                                              June 2013 – August 2013

Small family owned vineyard on Keuka Lake, with ten employees and an annual revenue of a million plus dollars.

 

Assistant Manager Intern. Immersed in a variety of day-to-day operations, Point of Sales, event management and grounds work.  Promoted customer engagement on an individual level.

 

  • Amplified brand attentiveness by growing customer awareness through event participation and network outreach, through personal and social networking.

  • Increased sales revenue by hosting member event to promote new product launch while selling last year’s product too.

 

Boy Scouts of America—Mohawk District, NY, USA                                                                      2013 – 2014

One of America’s biggest youth organizations, with over 2 million youth members and a million adult volunteers.

 

Volunteer Consultant. Conducted and analyzed market data to understand the trend in decline of members in the Boy Scouts of America. Presented findings and made recommendations.

 

  • Produced demographic data table for district by conduction in depth field research.

  • Presented analytical recommendations based on data analyzed by preforming metric functions on collect field data.
